VULNERABILITY OF BABIES

Target Audience

This training is for line managers and practitioners working with children and families, particularly those with young infants.

Aims

This workshop aims to raise awareness of the child protection risks posed to young babies and children, as well as discussing the procedures for vulnerable babies at risk of significant harm. It will cover the evidence as to why babies are at a far greater risk and how a practitioner’s approach should take this into account.
